Boise gas line FAQs.
Quick answers on scope, pricing and how we work across the Treasure Valley.
Is gas work dangerous?
Natural gas is safe when systems are properly installed and maintained. The danger comes from unpermitted DIY work, aging black iron, or undetected leaks. Every ACME gas job is pressure-tested, inspected and signed off by the City of Boise. We treat gas with the respect it demands.
Do you install gas lines for outdoor kitchens and BBQs?
Yes. We run stub-outs for grills, fire pits, patio heaters and full outdoor kitchens. We size the line for BTU load, pull the permit, and pressure-test before we leave.
How do I know if I have a gas leak?
The most common signs are a rotten-egg smell, hissing near a connection, dead vegetation over the buried line, or a sudden spike in your gas bill. If you suspect a leak, leave the house and call us or the gas company immediately. Do not use light switches or appliances.
What does gas line repair cost in Boise?
Minor appliance reconnection or valve replacement starts around $189. New line runs are $389–$1,200+ depending on length, diameter and access. Every job is flat-rate and quoted in writing before we start.
